I hope you're all having a fun and relaxing holiday. Remember to stay safe!
Here are some activities for you to do over the next few weeks.
This is a fun (and magic) trick - see if you can figure out how it's done:
Try the BBC website out for some maths and literacy activities:
And if you find those activities too easy then you can try this site:
There's always our favourite Tower Blaster game:
http://media.y8.com/games/content/towerblaster.swf
Another favourite site is the Primary games site:
http://www.primarygames.com/math.htm
And don't forget the spelling site:
Spelling city
(Students should be spelling the words in lists 1-4 correctly by the end of Year 4)
You can also take some time and read our class blog - there are some posts still to come from Term 2.
And you can also check out our classwork blog site and catch up on anything you've missed - especially in reading/language. I've posted a question on the SODA site for the holidays as well.
Next term we'll be looking at communication; fractions; number; report writing - you might like to keep these ideas in mind as you check out the different web links.
